Box contains song cards created by local artists for screen projection in the Barndoor Canteen, a U.S.O. facility in Carmel, California. Scrapbook contains clippings, letters of appreciation, and handwritten comments from soldiers who visited the U.S.O. Also included is a letter, endorsed by Ruth Cooke, vindicating poet Robinson Jeffers from an allegation of Communist affiliation.
